WEEKLY PROGRESS
ahem…”new player levels? Update to faction assault? Updates to survival road?” Folks keep asking. No dates for any of this
Lord. So, we have seen leaks of more S-Class toons that will be dropping. Initially Scopely said that “S-Class toons will be rare” and only released periodically. Well, they are as rare as freckles on a redhead. #StoptheSclassInsanity Each new toon released creates another crater between F2P and whales. Never mind the message it sends to players about what Scopely thinks of their concerns.
Scopely introduced the "gold bricks" event which gives players a free S-Class toon, which can be maxed by daily activity after about 3 months (more in notes)

COMMUNICATION
Launching a new blog with a regular cadence of content;
Player Council to update and discuss our promises outlined, and to strengthen communication lines between players and the development team
Greater communication from our community managers in our forums and other community channels
WEEKLY PROGRESS
BLOG?! They intend to make one. At some point. In the future. 😐 mmhm.
Player Council- questions asked about the council on forums have still never been addressed by Scopely. It’s near impossible to gauge the impact or influence PC has.
It has not strengthened communications between the player community and the development team. Instead it created some walls that became a distraction to forum posts. Frustration needs to be directed at Scopely, as some PC members are trying to represent the community effectively. --> Communication is sparse and difficult to follow. Changes and corrections are made on forums without any noticeable notification. This means that people need to keep rechecking posts.
The conditions and restrictions for transfers of wave 1, 2 and 3 regions were confusing. Again, players help each other by making visuals.
Mistakes are abundant. For example the dates for Wave 1 transfers conflicted with events, did not exist and/or were wrong. No acknowledgment of those mistakes. A simple "correction" note would help.
Misinformation can be worst than no information.

OVERALL
The "Promises" post is manually unpinned. This shouldn't be a weekly concern.
Leaks and previews look like we will be swimming in S-Class toons soon. Though they were to be rare, the rate at which they are released is disheartening. Suggests a game reset, that would require players to spend mucho moolah.
Players are leaving at an alarming rate
With every new op toon released, the gap between players is exacerbated. Hugely.
Prizes. Lame. Players want to be excited about playing the game again.
Free S-Class is a nice thing for players. However, by the time players can max those toons, they may be outdated by 12 more S-Class. We are pleased, with lingering suspicion.
Region transfers were very confusing and forced players to abort plans they may have had for a while. This forced everyone to scramble to sort things out. Again, Scopely doesn't seem to grasp just how organized and well thought out its community is. We plan ahead. We are proactive. We are informed. And we help each other.
Take some lessons from your own player base, Scopely. Please.
Because many of us are still invested in this game.
